To help the Class of 2023 plan their career paths, enhance their job market competitiveness, and promote high-quality graduate employment, the 6th Job Hunting Training Camp—New Energy Special Session was held on the afternoon of June 11, 2025, in Room N411 of the Clean Energy Building. The event was hosted by Ms. Zhao Yiting, leader of the ICARE Graduate Work Team, and attended by over 20 students.

Alumnus Huang Jingjing, who graduated in 2022, opened the session by sharing key companies in the new energy sector and their business focuses, drawing from his experience in the power industry. He provided detailed analysis of different job roles across enterprises, offering valuable insights into career planning and job-hunting strategies. He stressed the importance of early communication with tutors, timely completion of research tasks, and effective time management to build a strong job-hunting foundation.

Wang Yicai shared his experience applying to central and state-owned new energy enterprises. Drawing from several job-hunting attempts, he recommended tailoring resumes to both R&D and non-R&D roles, and starting interview preparation with a focus on general and technical questions. He advised students to prepare answers for common interview topics and to compile a question bank in advance to improve performance.

Zhang Jingyu spoke about job-hunting strategies for product manager roles in new energy companies. He compared job preparation and working environments across domestic and foreign enterprises, offering students a clearer understanding of career options. He emphasized the importance of highlighting personal strengths in resumes and urged students to seize early recruitment opportunities in June–July by staying informed about company openings.

During a lively Q&A session, students asked questions such as “How to enhance job-fit compatibility?”, “What personal qualities should job seekers focus on?”, and “How to find internships aligned with one’s strengths?” Guest speakers responded thoroughly, providing practical advice that clarified career goals and boosted student confidence.

The session gave students an opportunity to learn from successful alumni, deepening their understanding of the new energy sector. Participants found it highly valuable, gaining both job-hunting skills and motivational support. ICARE plans to hold future sessions focused on interview techniques, professional etiquette, and other career development skills
